I understand the many different ways people learn and how best to adjust my teaching style to them. This is the main reason why I generally do not ask students to buy any books, but try to adapt the best of all available study materials to their specific needs.
2. Why choose one-to-one or small group tuition?
A general group course is often not effective for learners who have limited amounts of time at their disposal. In this case, one-to-one classes allow the individual to choose when and where their classes take place. Moreover, one-to-one tuition students are given a detailed assessment and a continuous needs analysis to ensure that their needs are met.
3. Do you provide English language certificates?
No, because I am not an English course but an experienced private teacher. So, if you want a proof of your English language ability – to be used, for example, in applications for jobs or universities, or simply as a measure of personal achievement – I offer preparation classes for examinations recognized worldwide, such as TOEFL, IELTS and a variety of Cambridge exams.
4. If I have classes with you, how long will it take me to improve my English?
This varies from student to student and depends on some key factors, especially the amount of time you can dedicate to self-study and the frequency of your English classes. Generally, students who have classes twice a week may move up a level after 8 or 12 weeks, while other students in similar circunstances may need longer.
